A student Himanshu Pipariya of Mechanical Engineering branch from Indore Institute of Science and Technology represented India globally and has bagged a gold medal for INDIA under 64 KG in 3rd International Taekwondo Championship and 2nd International Poomsae Championship in Thimphu, Bhutan.
Director of IIST, Dr.Joy Banerjee on behalf of entire fraternity congratulated Himanshu for excelling at the just ended 3rd International Taekwondo Championship and 2nd International Poomsae Championship in Thimphu, Bhutan.
Welcoming him, Dr.Joy Banerjee appreciated Himanshu for demonstrating his patriotism and commitment to achieve such a tremendous feat for the country and said “Not only is this historic accomplishment, but an inspiration to all students of IIST who have ever nurtured a dream and worked towards its realization. As he surged toward the finish line and toward the ultimate goal, Himanshu carried with him the heart and hopes of IIST fraternity.”
