This lab is intended to complement the introductory course on Web Designing with practice sessions on Web engineering issues of building software systems that effectively utilize various Web-based resources.

This lab is intended to complement an introductory course on databases with practice sessions on designing, creating, modifying and querying databases.

The lab provides basic system operations such as file management, text editing, permission management, and familiarizes with the Linux command-line environment.

Object oriented programming laboratory provides good understanding of basic concepts of oops and the need of developing software applications. They can also gain knowledge of the static member, friend function, operator overloading, linked list, exception handling, polymorphism.

Data Structures lab aims to provide knowledge about Data Structures, Applications of data structures, Problem solving using data structure tools and Techniques. Students are made familiar with C programming and its applications.

Computer Graphics & Multimedia lab provide a comprehensive introduction to computer graphics leading to the ability to understand contemporary terminology, progress, issues, and trends, focusing on 3D modeling, image synthesis, and rendering, geometric transformations, geometric algorithms.

To study paradigms and approaches used to analyze and design algorithms and to appreciate the impact of algorithms design in practice.

The primary goal of software engineering is to design and develop various phases of Software systems that take student to next level with respect to highly design and efficient quality software. The students acquire significant new skills to design UML designing and specific skills related to project management.

Java is a programming language which helps students to develop their ideas in programming. This lab teaches student object oriented concepts and enable them to use these concepts in their projects. Using this language students are able to design a website and desktop based applications, they are able to deal with threads, exception handling, applets.

Soft Computing Lab provides elementary knowledge of performance-Index in various Artificial Neural Network in different programming languages & tools like C and MATLAB. This computing lab develops understanding in Biological Neural Network for Computer Science. Artificial Intelligence and Fuzzy Logic are also latest research in Robotics for students Development.

The objective of the lab is to improve the learning and writing skills of Basic computer programming. Languages like c and c++. Students also work with MS word, excel and database SQL server software, simultaneously improve programming skills and work with Operating system like Windows and Linux.

Operating System LAB provide concepts of process; address space, file and memory management. In this lab students will compare different CPU scheduling algorithms.

Cloud Computing is latest research area in this field. Our lab is providing simulated environment for Cloud Computing with CloudSim and Hardware infrastructure. Students are learning all Cloud services like Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (Paas), and Infrastructure as a Service (Iaas)

The basic Electrical and Electronics laboratory is utilized for performing experiments related to fundamentals of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Engineering subject common to all first year undergraduate students of the college. The study of electrical and electronic is pivotal to both, electrical and electronics engineering students. This Lab covers all the basic devices that serve as the most basic building block of almost all electronic and electrical devices and lays a firm foundation of the engineering curriculum.

The network analysis lab provide basic skill set needed to do major in Electronics, instrumentation and electrical engineering. It aims at equipping students with the analysis and techniques, which will be used throughout the engineering curriculum.

Diode and Transistors are basic building blocks to almost all electronic equipments. This Lab provides a comprehensive introduction to the electronic properties of semiconductors, technology, the theories and practices of the most important electronic devices, and their impacts on the performance of integrated circuits.

The digital electronics laboratory is intended for performing experiments for the Digital Electronics subject at second year undergraduate students of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology and Computer Science and Engineering. This lab is equipped with Digital Electronics Trainer Boards, breadboards, power supplies, electronic components, various digital ICs to design and test various digital circuits.

This laboratory is intended for performing laboratory exercises and the minor projects for subjects like analog electronic devices & circuits and analog integrated circuits of the second year undergraduate students. It is well equipped with the sufficient numbers of experimental trainer boards, oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies, multi-meters and electronic components.

This laboratory focuses on training on measuring techniques required for measuring different parameters like temperature, pressure, strain, and speed along with measurement of resistance, inductance, capacitance and frequency. The lab consists of different measuring instruments like thermocouple, pressure transducer, strain gauge, magnetic sensor, photoelectric sensor, various bridge circuits, Function generators, CROs, DSOs, voltmeters, ammeters and multi-meters etc.

This Laboratory is used to teach the principles of analog and digital communication engineering. The lab is equipped with various modulation and demodulation training boards for AM, FM, SSB, DSP, ASK, FSK, PSK, Delta, adaptive delta, TDM-PCM techniques and sufficient number of CROs, function generator and DSOs.

The Communication networks and transmission line serves as the backbone in integrating the circuit components in a microwave device. Thus, the understanding of the electromagnetic wave propagation in free space and transmission lines are very critical in designing a communication system. This Lab introduces students to the concept of transmission lines, which forms the basis for understanding RF and microwave technology.

This lab is equipped with 8085 and 8086 microprocessor kits and interfacing devices to develop programming skills of undergraduate students on microprocessor and its interfacing with other devices.

This is a state of the art UG/PG level lab to give an insight of circuit simulation to the students. The lab has excellent computing facilities and has MATLAB software with 10 tool boxes, Labview, Microwind, TINA Pro and Xilinx Software.

This laboratory is intended for performing experiments for Digital signal processing This Lab introduces the basic concepts and techniques for processing signals. Additionally, the Lab provides the learners fairly comprehensive coverage of the basic principles and practical aspects of modern digital circuits and systems.

Antennas are the essential communication link.This Lab is concerned with three important aspects of telecommunications: fixed site antennas, radio wave propagation, and small antennas proximate to the body.

Television is one of the strongest medium of mass communication. Radar is used mostly in defense. This Lab introduces field of TV&RADAR, right from beginning to latest trend so that they can contribute to the development, procurement, manufacture, and application of TV & RADAR system.

This Laboratory aids in teaching the advanced theory of microwave techniques and wireless & optical fiber communication systems. This lab is equipped with 5 microwave benches to measure VSWR, antenna gain, dielectric constant, radiation pattern, etc. This lab also consists of optical fibre trainers for link design, WDM, laser, optical transducer CDMA, CDSS & FHSS and baseband transmitter and receiver.

This lab is used to conduct various experiments related to testing of industrial materials like cement, fats and oils etc. along with the experiments using electrochemistry techniques. It has various instruments other than the usual glasswares & chemicals which includes. Conductivity Meter, Desiccators, Hot Plate, Water Bath, Photo Calorimeter, pH meter, Muffle Furnace, Polarimeter.

This includes the calibration & operation of different testing & analytical instrument along with the basic knowledge on instrumentation symbols in process Flow sheet. The instruments in the lab are: Digital pH Meter, Turbidity Meter, Conductivity Meter, Polarimeter, Spectrophotometer, Water level by Strain Gauge, Pressure measurement by Strain gauge, Photo Calorimeter.

The objective of the Fluid Mechanics lab is to study the fluid flow phenomena, application of Brnoulli’s theory, pressure drop calculations, fluid flow rate, performance of fluid moving machineries, energy losses due to friction, curves & fittings. Fluid Mechanics lab is equipped with: Orifice meter, Venturi meter, Meta centric Height measurement, Reynolds law measuring equipment, Pitot Tube, Nozzles, Weirs, Centrifugal Pump, Pipe Fitting losses and friction measuring equipment.

The lab contains experimental setups related with the various unit operation techniques mainly size reduction & separation of solids from the mixtures. These include various crushing and grinding equipments, separation techniques and methods for determining particle size distribution. Fluid Mechanics lab is equipped with: Ball Mill, Jaw Crusher, Hammer Mill, Fluidized Bed, Plate and Frame Filter press, Cyclone separator, Test Sieves, Gyratory Sieve, Physical balance.

The lab deals with the phenomena of heat transfer i.e. conduction, convection & radiation. Experiments are related with the measurements of thermal conductivity, heat transfer coefficients rate of heat transfer by convection, radiation, evaporation, boiling and condensation and various Heat Exchangers. Laboratory includes equipment: Open pan Evaporator, Single Effect Evaporator, Shell and Tube Heat exchanger, Double pipe Heat Exchanger, Thermal Conductivity Measurement equipments, Natural Convection Equipment, Forced Convection Equipment, Emissivity measurement equipments, Drop and Film wise Condensation

In this laboratory students learn the technology related with the water pollution, air pollution & soil pollution. The students are given hand on training on apparatus/equipments used for measurement of water quality parameter, air pollutants, heavy metals & soil pollutant using physical, chemical & biochemical techniques. Environment lab is equipped with: Soil and water testing kit, pH meter, Turbidity meter, Conductance meter, Polarimeter, Spectrophotometer, BOD, COD, Colony counter, Muffle Furnace, Refrigerator, Heating Mental, Magnetic Stirrer with hot plate, Analysis kit, Orsat Gas Analyser, Electronic Balance, Digital Photocalorimeter

Numerical models are developed for modeling chemical processes involving fluid flow, heat and mass transfer with chemical reaction. The mathematical models are solved with the aid of sophisticated software on personal computers Modeling and simulation software include, CHEMCAD, as a numerical tool for modeling fluid flow, heat transfer, and reactions in fluid/solid systems such as porous beds, membranes, reactors, and channels. The lab uses Mat lab and ChemCAD.

Concrete material testing laboratory is meant for the testing of different construction materials like coarse aggregates, fine aggregates (sand), cement, concrete and bitumen which are used in the construction of buildings, roads, bridges etc. Laboratory is well equipped with the latest instruments like Digital Compressive Testing Machine, Rebound hammer etc.

The Transportation Lab supports research and instruction in transportation engineering area. The lab is equipped with several instruments and machines for testing materials used in building infrastructure like roads, bridges etc.

Geotech Engineering Laboratory is equipped with the facilities to carry out tests on soil. These tests are essential to determine the properties and Bearing Capacity of soil. The tests includes determination of Index properties of soils like(Particle size distribution, unit wt, liquid limit, Plastic limit, shrinkage limit & Specific Gravity,) and strength characteristics like shear strength, triaxial strength, compressibility etc.

Fluid Mechanics Laboratory focuses on fluid mechanics and its multidisciplinary applications in engineering. Prototype are available in our laboratory to understand the real working of the equipments like Kaplan turbine.

Environmental engineering laboratory supports teaching & project work, and courses in the areas of geotechnical engineering and water resources. The laboratory provides facilities for completing water & wastewater quality analyses.

The following major tests can be performed in our Environmental Engineering Lab:

Water & Wastewater Characteristic Analysis like BOD, COD, DO, hardness, Turbidity, pH, Alkalinity, Chloride etc.

Our geology laboratory has wide range of rocks. The laboratory is used for supporting the coursework taught in classes.

Geology lab comprises of various stones and charts.

Strength of Materials Lab is meant for studying the mechanical properties of material.

Basic Civil Engineering lab introduces civil engineering applications to the first year students through various lab based models.

Surveying labs provide students with hands-on experience to supplement instruction in surveying courses. Our laboratory is well equipped with the latest equipments like Total Station, Digital Theodolite, Autolevel, Digital Planimeter which are used for surveying.

Communication is an activity of the mind and cognition. Effective communication is an important skill. With globalization, English has become the lingua franca of the world. For a successful career in any field, it is essential that students have a good knowledge of English including communication in English. Our communication lab has ETNL software with 30 students console and one Teacher console. The lab is used to improve all aspects of English language communication, such as pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary. Large number of the students being from vernacular background, the lab plays an important role in sprucing up English communication skill of the students.

Beside communication skill, the lab also has facilities to prepare students in various competitive examinations like GATE, NET, CMAT, XAT etc.

In this lab students understand the basic concept of Cryptography and Network Security, their mathematical models, various types ciphers, DES, AES, message Authentication, digital Signature, virus, worms and firewall.

Database Management System lab manages the need for efficient storage of data’s as they matter in today’s world of bulky usage. The DBMS course starts from developing a simple query to notification and security level issues that involve views trigger events and reports. Also students are encouraged to do a mini project with the help of Visual basic and MS access on their own that tunes out them in finding various procedures that suits the need of the application.

In this lab we teach fundamental concepts in the area of cloud computing and impart Knowledge in cloud application. Cloud computing skills have surpassed expertise in IT security, project management, virtualisation, network skills, database management, business intelligence and application development knowledge to become the most valuable proficiency sought by enterprise IT, research has revealed.

Java Programming Lab focuses on developing the students coding part with the help of java’s core techniques that extends to work on frontend tools like swings and AWT. Also the code reusability is employed using various inheritance techniques and interfaces. File handling techniques along with JDBC database connectivity is also provided that imparts the students to handle a mini project.

In this lab the students work learn different type of advance programming language like Advance Java, JDBC, ODBC.

NetBeans is the free open-source Integrated Development Environment (IDE). NetBeans is also an extensible platform used to build OS-independent applications. NetBeans enables the development of cross-platform desktop, mobile, and web applications based on industry standards.

Computer Practice lab aims at providing the basics of computer knowledge from the scratch that includes application programs like Word, Excel, PowerPoint and also concentrates on the Program development in C language along with the algorithm and flowchart. Also an overall study and implementation of Unix commands and programming techniques were explored in this laboratory. This laboratory acts as a base for both the computer literates and computer illiterates from the school levels. To introduce to simple linear and non linear data structures such as lists, stacks, queues, trees and graphs.

Web Technology Lab employs the students to develop web application programs using ASP.net, Java Script, JQuery and PHP. Innovative websites can be designed with the help of these tools that is needed by the world in promoting their businesses and research projects.

In this lab students are taught contemporary knowledge in parallel and distributed computing, Equip students with skills to design and analyze parallel and distributed applications. Various design issues of parallel or distributed computing System e.g. system performance and reliability, distributed file system etc are explained.

Computer Networks Lab involves students in developing their hardware knowledge and to relate their devices and connectivity. It involves in exploring the network topologies, socket programming various transport layer protocols like TCP, UDP, SMTP and FTP. The students can infer a good knowledge about various congestion control algorithms and internet protocols like IPV4 and IPV6. All the programs were implemented in Java that also kindles their programming skills.

Software Engineering Lab provides space for students in solving simple problems using CASE tools for Planning, cost estimation, Modelling the requirements and configuration management. The lab curriculum involves working on various application programs in real-time that makes students to correlate their technical world along with the real world. Rational Rose along with VB6 is used in developing these application programs.

Object Oriented Programming Lab aims at providing the concepts of oops like Abstraction Encapsulation, Inheritance, Polymorphism etc. These concepts act as the pillar for developing the current IT industry needs. Efficient usage of time and space complexity needs is addressed with the help of this laboratory.

Introduce students to soft computing concepts and techniques and foster their abilities in designing and implementing soft computing based solutions for real-world and engineering problems. Explain the students about fuzzy sets and its operations. Introduce students to fuzzy systems, fuzzy logic and its applications. Introduce students to genetic algorithm fundamentals and its operators and procedure. Explain the students about Artificial Neural Networks and various categories of ANN.

Operating System Lab aims at providing the in-depth knowledge about process their scheduling concepts, threads, memory management techniques, file operations and organization methods, I/O techniques, RAID concepts. It also focuses on Linux operating system concepts which focus the students towards future working environment and open source concepts.

Department of Information Technology has well-equipped state of the art laboratories which includes branded Desktops & Server Systems of WIPRO System which are interconnected through Cisco Switches & Router to give the students hands on experience like Programming lab, Network lab etc.

verify concepts of rotating equipment, Pelton Turbine and Kaplan
Turbines.

This lab has software like CAD, Pro E, Anasys for Computer-aided
design (CAD), also known as computer-aided design and drafting
(CADD).

To acquaint the students with the fundamental aspects of the
application of refrigeration and Air conditioning systems. Vapor
compression, vapor absorption and other types of refrigeration and
Air conditioning systems are studied in this lab.

and various operations of cutting tools.

To study and perform experiments related to governors, gyroscopes
etc and balancing of machines.

To demonstrate basic principles of thermal engineering and gas
dynamics by conducting the experiments related to subject content.

To demonstrate basics of Thermodynamics and conduct experiments in
thermodynamic principles, applications and concept of energy

Centralized workshop has facilities like Carpentry Shop, Fitting
Bench, Black Smithy Shop, Welding Shop, Sheet metal shop, Machine
Shop develop desired skills required as an engineer.

This labs conducts, experiments related to concepts of Basic Mechanical Engineering like verification of Bernoulli’s Theorem, Determining tensile strength of a specimen and various models of Boilers, Internal combustion engines and Lathe Machine.
