IIST possesses one of the finest computing environments amongst all the educational institutions in Indore. Operating round the clock, 365 days in a year, there are 1000 + PCs in the institute in addition to a large number of laptops, cluster/virtualized servers and a campus- wide network with Wi-Fi access.

The campus network also links computing resources in the academic offices, faculties, central library, laboratories, and administrative units. The Internet bandwidth of 12 MBPS leased line ensures full Internet access.
