Institutional Collaborations

Institutional collaborations involve efforts of the collaborating institutions/companies so as to gain skills, resources and knowledge of mutual benefits. While collaborations between academic institutions lead to building and exchange of knowledge, collaboration between academic institutions also lead to a two way benefit. While the academic institutions can support corporates with rich conceptual and research backup,   corporates provide inputs regarding developments or issues in industries which can be the new research avenues for academics. Such collaborative initiatives can provide corporates with employees groomed and trained as per their requirement and expectations.

IIMR is presently preparing for academic as well as corporate tie ups. The key objectives for these collaborations are:

  • Skill & competency development for mutual benefits
  • Better exposure to academic and professional learning platforms

About corporate collaborations, IIMR is rigorously working on developing strong institute-industry interface with focus on banking and finance, retail, pharmaceutical and IT sectors. The aim is to provide students a strong platform for learning through short term projects, internships, curriculum developed through joint efforts of IIMR with experts from corporates etc.

IIMR is also pursuing for tie ups with national and international institutes/universitiesso as to expand the learning horizon for the students. This is planned to be achieved through student oriented joint programs, student and faculty exchange programs. Tie ups with renowned IT companies providing skills and learning solutions are also pipelined.

The efforts for these academic and corporate collaborations are under process and will be reaching concrete level soon.
